The Ministry of Presence is “Good Samaritan” ministry; a lifestyle of caring, welcoming and affirming every neighbor. This training helps people become aware of the hurts and needs of those around them and equips people to live out our Gospel mission in daily life — “partnering with God to transform the world by offering help, hope and healing through Jesus Christ.”

This 6-Week training includes:

Week 1: Presence: Good Samaritan Style
Week 2: Ask: Questions That Care
Week 3The Well: Learning to Listen
Week 4: Spirit Nudges: Nonverbal Understanding
Week 5: Decisions: Thou Shall Not Should
Week 6: Choices, Changes, and Challenges

We are all are called to a vocation of loving others, as a response to a loving God, through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Peer Ministry offers practical tools to live into this calling.
